Our Mission
Medicos en Accion is a non-profit society
composed of volunteers whose
mandate is to provide medical and surgical care to
people in developing
countries with limited access to care. Our work has been focused in Guatemala
at the Obras Sociales del
Hermano Pedro in the city of Antigua, and in the
nearby communities of Panajachel and Patzun. .
Over the past year we have also started a project in
The Gambia in west Africa.
